It’s here! PES Data Pack 3.0 has arrived bringing with it hundreds of new player faces, thousands of player stat adjustments, a whole host of boots and balls and of course, that EURO 2016 content.
The bulk of the data pack features the content surrounding the hotly awaited UEFA EURO 2016 add on. This includes an official UEFA 2016 tournament mode, tournament branding, the official Adidas match ball and the Stade de France stadium – which is host to the final match on July 10.
A brand new EURO 2016 mode now appears on PES 2016, complete with EURO 2016 branding.
Also included are a whole host of EURO 2016 kits with the strips of Germany, Italy, Spain, Czech Republic. Iceland. Slovakia, Ukraine, Northern Ireland and Wales all now featuring in the game as well as those of match officials who appear in EURO 2016 uniform.
Licenses have also been gained for France, Turkey, Croatia, England and Portugal and the official press release states that their strips will be updated with the official Nike strips which were announced just last week, as a free DLC prior to the tournament commencing on June 11.
10 new National Team Licenses have been added with Data Pack 3 (note that the shirts of Turkey, England and Croatia will be updated to reflect EURO 2016 designs in a free data pack before the tournament starts).
It’s not just International kits that have received attention, with strips for clubs across Europe and South America also updated. These include Udinese and Empori from the Italian League, FC Groningen and Willem II in the Dutch Eredivisie, Espanol and Eibar from La Liga as well as 10 Liga Adelante sides.
New UEFA Champions League uniforms for Marseilles, Sporting Lisbon and AS Saint-Etienne have also been recreated and there are kit updates for 14 Brazilian and Argentinian clubs including Flamengo, Corinthians and Union de Santa Fe.
A total of 199 player faces have also been updated as part of the data pack including players from every qualified EURO 2016 side. Among these are Andriy Yarmalenko of Ukraine, Germany’s İlkay Gündoğan and Welsh cover star Gareth Bale.

On top of face updates, a total of 1400 player stats in both offline and online modes have had amendments made to their stats in light of their performances during the season. Included in those enjoying an improvement in ratings will be England’s Jamie Vardy, young keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma and PES EURO 2016 ambassador Kingsley Coman.
As one has come to expect from PES data packs, a whole host of boots have been added with the update including offerings from Nike, Puma and Adidas. Among them are PES 2016 cover star Neymar Jr’s new Hypervenom Phantom II NJR kicks.
New boots and balls have also been added.
The UEFA Champions League Finale Milano ball, which will be used in the knockout rounds of the competition, also joins it’s UEFA EURO 2016 counterpart in the game.
PES 2016 Data Pack 3 is available – free of charge – right now for all formats on which the game is currently released. Although the size varies for different versions, the PlayStation 4 version weighs in at around 3.86GB.
