After a whirlwind whistle-stop tour of Europe, we had reached our final stop of the PES 2018 World Tour. Milan was the venue,

The Italian Press and community members were present for a presentation outlining new features of PES 2018, led by Adam Bhatti, PES Global Product and Brand Manager and Assistant Producer of the game Masuda-San. Five new in-game faces were also revealed during the presentation, check them out below.

Among the press at the event was Alessandro Scarano of GQ Italy, who stated that “many aspects have been improved: the appearance and physical players and that of the ball”. Scarano also noted how defending and set pieces are now more realistic compared to previous iterations.

Alessandro Scrugli from Hdblog.it had decidedly more to say about PES 2018, starting with ball physics and realism. “The greater responsiveness allows the user to quickly choose whether to keep possession or create spaces (to) adopt a particular strategy”, said Scrugli, also mentioning the effect of physicality on collisions and contests.

Not for the first time, PES 2018’s graphics have been subject to rave reviews. “The highlight of PES 2018 is undoubtedly the Fox Engine graphics engine technology that guarantees the presence of polygonal models incredibly close to reality. The same goes for animations specific to each player”, Srugli commented. Scrugli goes on to praise the “completely free” gameplay and “freedom of movement”.

Yuri Polverino of Spaziogames also provided some feedback on PES 2018. They had some kind words to say about the PC edition of PES 2018 saying ‘We can say with certainty that the PC version goes beyond the console, thanks to more refined textures and an enviable fluency’. IGN Italia had a presence at the event too. Andrea Boscarino gave his thoughts on the game in his impressions article which you can read HERE.

The Full Manual PES Community was also represented in Milan, with @zexsim of PES Serbia in attendance. Check out his impressive manual PES 2018 gameplay video HERE and HERE.
