PESUnites Tricks Challenge
The "PES Unites" project, a promotional campaign and a resource for Pro Evolution Soccer fans, is currently running its PES Unites Tricks Challenge, which is a friendly competition where anyone, through the PESUnites.com website, can upload a video of themselves performing tricks, flicks or other interesting things with footballs. Visitors to the PES Unites website can then vote for whatever competition contribution takes their fancy.
To enter the competition, a few rules need to be followed:
Video submissions should
* Be all your own work;
* Have only one subject – YOU – no-one else should appear in the videos, even for a few seconds;
* Be no more than 60 seconds long;
* Not contain any material in which the copyright may be owned by someone else (for example, music, TV, film, artwork, logos, photographs, etc.)and which you have not obtained permission to use; and
* Not contain any offensive indecent or obscene content.
Furthermore, you
*need to be residing in the European Union
*need to be over the age of 18
*cannot be an employee of KONAMI.
If someone else has filmed you performing your trick (even if they just held the camera), make sure you have obtained their prior permission to use the video before uploading the video to pesunites.com.
There are also a few restrictions on video entries
Videos or any other material or information submitted may not:
* Be no more than 60 seconds long;
* Feature any film or images of anyone other than yourself;
* Have been previously broadcast or posted on any other website;
* Contain any material in which the copyright may be owned by someone else (for example, music, TV, film, artwork, logos, photographs, etc.) and which you have not obtained permission to use; and
* Contain any offensive, indecent or obscene content, including any nudity, lewd or vulgar behaviour; offensive language and/or gestures; reference to sex, drugs, or violence.
The planned dates of the Contest are 11 November 2008 and for 5 weeks thereafter (subject to change without notice).
Videos will be reviewed on a weekly basis with winners selected for each week during the period of the Contest.
The prize for each week's winner is a selection of signed merchandise chosen by Konami.
So if you have a video camera or recording device, then get filming! Each week you have the chance to be picked as a winner and receive signed merchandise chosen by KONAMI.
If you don't have a video camera, then head on over to PESUnites.com and vote for your favourite submissions.
