PES 2010 to be at Gamescom



PES 2010 to be playable at Gamescom Show in August

Konami have announced their line up for the annual games trade show, Gamescom, held in Germany at the end of August.

This year, the event is held in Cologne from the 19th to the 23rd of August. Konami will be there again, and will have playable copies of PES 2010 for gamers to try out months before the game is released. For the last two or three years, some of the first gameplay footage has emerged from these events so it may be a date to mark on your calendar.

Konami will also be showing off the new Silent Hill and Dance Dance Revolution games.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced it will premiere a wave of stunning titles at the all-new show “gamescom” event in Cologne.

Starting August 19th, the Cologne show will mark the beginning of a new era for visitors as well as trade partners and exhibitors. As one of the first publishers to confirm their support, Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has revealed it will the five-day event to showcase PES 2010, Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, and new additions to its DanceDanceRevolution series.

Gamescom opens a new chapter in the European games industry - as does the advent of PES 2010, which will be released in the Autumn. PES has long been synonymous with unique gameplay and unrivaled realism, and PES 2010 has been reworked to play a more considered and realistic game. The avid PES Community has contributed massively to the development of the game, and PES Productions - Konami’s Tokyo-based development team - has collated feedback on the series’ strengths and weaknesses for months via fan forums, and from both ardent and casual PES players.

The result will be the most challenging, realistic and satisfying PES to date. PES 2010 will be released for PLAYSTATION®3, Xbox 360, PC-DVD, PSP® (PlayStation®Portable), PlayStation®2 and mobile phones in autumn. Konami will present the results of this unique collaboration in Cologne, marking the first time the game will have been available to play in Europe.

These titles showcase Konami’s commitment to diversity and innovation, and will be playable on booth number C30, hall 7.1. Konami´s booth is an exposed construction and its varied product range is conjoined symbolically by a band in Konami´s red.

It's no real surprise that the game will be on show, but here's some confirmation that PES 2010 will indeed feature at gamescom.
