Interview with dragonskin
Here at PESFan, we have a great community of players, and we'd like to get to know you all a little bit better..
Here is our interview with dragonskin - the first in a series of interviews we're planning to do with members of PESFan.

Tell us a little about yourself
I'm 21, just graduated uni and I'm a long suffering supporter of Newcastle.
What did you think about this year's version of PES?
I thought PES 2010 was definitely progress, but still had a few too many flaws to keep me playing like the PS2 versions used to. When I played the demo, I hated it but when the full game arrived it felt so much better. Master League was the biggest improvement in a long time, and the Editing mode is still the best of any game out there despite some exclusions.
The worst part of the game is the AI which seems to be dumber than ever. They defend poorly and never seem keen on attacking.
For the next game, I hope they have an animation overhaul, give the player more control and with a few extra touches here and there to correct some silly mistakes PES 2011 could be a great game.
Which version of PES is your all-time favourite?
My favourite version of the game is PES 3. Everything about it was magical at the time, each goal felt unique and you really had to work hard to beat the COM. PES 6 would be my most played PES game, easily played several thousand games on it.
How did you get involved with PES and PESFan?
I've been playing the series since ISS Deluxe on the Mega Drive, I even remember buying the game for £40 from GAME. Atter the Mega Drive, I played it on the PS1 and PS2 until I upgraded to a 360 for PES 2008. I registered on PESFan when I wanted the stats to create Jose Antonio Reyes and I saw the site mentioned on the gameFAQs message board. I signed up but didn't bother posting for a few months, but started posting when PES 4 came out when I came back looking for an option file.
I started making option files when PES5 came out and did all the kits and badges for the PES5 PESFan Option File, which was highly successful until Boss got the FA knocking on his door. Since then I've helped produce the option files on the site and done bits and pieces around the editing section, although not as much as I used to.
As a Ref on PESFan, you must have some stories to tell us?
I do remember a time when a ref, who shall remain nameless, accidentally approved a spam bot posting for the home page instead of deleting it, and the site ended up having porn all across the home page.
Tell us about your favourite community moments
One of my favourite community things was the PES 6 MT. The Master League hadn't changed for a few years and the MT brought new life into it having to negotiate with real people for players and competing with other users to win the title. If PES managed to implement an online Master League in the future, I imagine it would be as fun as that was.
