North v South Reminder

We've got just a little over a week to go until the return of the North v South Tournament, one of the biggest events on the PES Rankings calendar! This year NvS will take place SIMULTANEOUSLY on March 28th at four venues around the country: Manchester, London, Reading and Glasgow.

The winner and runner up at each of these events will be invited back to London on the 18th April to compete to determine the overall NvS Champion 2010. At the final we will be awarding £2000 worth of prizes, with the winner taking away a £1000 voucher courtesy of our partners over at Play.com, as well as the coveted title of North v South Champion 2010.

So who are the players to watch?
As always, our top players will be in attendance to battle it out for the top spot!

At Reading, we have last year's Main Event winner, leng_jay, as well as Footimaster, former champion and currently #2 in Rankings, and Abes, 8th. We also have the long-awaited return of Marsh, an old Brum champion and regular finalist, as well as BigNick, runner up in the Play.com £50,000 Tournament!

Over at Manchester, we have shotzsn3, number four on the Rankings table and consistently high performer of late. Menace, winner of January's Manchester Play.com event will also be in attendance, as will NeoKubrick, representing the Irish Rankings players.

Current number one, The_Greek will be in London, along with xtrap, proevo_legend, and MazIdris, who have all been performing well in the London Play.com events this season.

Former champions RobMclean and Wallace will be at Glasgow, as will Marko9Gardinic, winner of the Play.com £50,000 Tournament, and JonnyNelson, Danny28986, ThomasMeechan, and eggbert22.
