E3 Trailer feedback... A Quick Analysis
A quick snapshot statistic:
At approximately 3pm on Monday 21st June, 77.67% of voters rated the PES 2011 E3 trailer as 4 out of 5 or higher.
What a nice little stat?! It shows that over three quarters of people are optimistic about PES 2011 from what we've seen so far, and would go as far as marking it in the top 20%. Those that have had negative comments are often loosely based on past experiences and not solely on the footage we've seen recently.
Perhaps this is the start of a turnaround for Konami? They've been their own worst enemy - and a lack of information/interaction on their part has soured customer relations over the last few years... The regular snippets of information and direct communication coming from Konami (often through European Team Leader Jon Murphy) seem to have lifted PES fans worldwide. Perhaps this is the start of a PES resurgence?
As I've said before (and plenty of others have too) the gameplay of PES 2011, and whether this level of consumer-interaction continues after launch will be the deciding factors - but for the time being at least, it's captured our imaginations.
If you’ve still not seen the E3 trailer – it’s now available to download from the Xbox Live Marketplace.
