Jon Murphy Interviews from Gamescom

Jon Murphy has been a busy man these last few days. Not only has he been demonstrating PES 2011 to members of the public at Gamescom, he's also been interviewed by media from across Europe. He has revealed more about the game, with news of 4 vs 4 online sure to please many fans.

The videogamer.com interview was posted the other day, but there are three new interviews online where Jon talks about the online mode, why changes were made for PES 2011 and he even briefly talks about next years game.

News of 4 vs 4 online comes from an interview with French site playfrance. It's a video interview, but as Jon answers in English there's no need for a translation! You can watch the video here. There's plenty more talked about including BAL, tricks, tactics, the new defensive system and who PES 2011 is primarily aimed at.

Carrying on the online theme, Italian gaming site spaziogames asks Jon how online mode has changed.
Spaziogames: What about the online mode?

John Murphy: The biggest innovation this year regarding the online mode is definitely the Master League has entered its beta earlier this week. From what I could see the online experience is much improved this year. In the past we created situations where if a player had a connection to perform poorly, the entire game slowed, decreased response time and there was, therefore, the teleportation of players. But now, if a lack of bandwidth, the game slows down but still playable. The response time is acceptable not making you feel deprived of control when the action first hand, the title became unplayable. I find that this is all very exciting. ”

Eurogamer.de will be posting their full interview with Jon of Thursday, but they've posted this snippet where Jon mentions the Blue Sky Team and their role with future developments in PES. You can see the snippet here.
