On the 16th July, top players from across the UK came together to compete in the PES Rankings Main Event 2011.

Bad_boy_g was the eventual winner of the tournament, and was crowned the PES Rankings UK 2011 Champion. He then went on to represent the UK in the World Finals in Cologne in August, which unfortunately, he didn't win.

We caught up with him for a short interview.. which you can read here!

On the 7th and 15th May we ran UEFA Champions League Festival offline tournaments which were held in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London. The winner from each event went through to an online final to decide the UK Champions League tournament winner!

PES 2011- Community Day Impressions

The PES 2011 Community Day was held yesterday at Konami HQ in London. There were several community sites in attendance, all there to play PES 2011 for the day.

Several sites have already posted their initial thoughts on the game, and others will do so in the coming days. So far, everyone seems very impressed with the game.

Next Thursday 22nd Konami will be holding an exclusive PES 2011 community day for a few lucky attendees. These chosen few will get to play the latest version of the game and tell you all about what they think about the game.

Community Mode - The Forgotten Gem

With all the build up and discussion around the stunning visuals and overhauled Master League, there's one new feature in PES 2010 that has slipped under the radar. The Community Mode.

An expansion on the Memorial Matches of old, this new mode is capable of creating custom league and cup competitions with all your mates while keeping track of all the stats amongst other things.

PES 2010 Online Test - Register Your Interest Now!

PES Fans are being given the chance to take part in an online test for PES 2010 next week. All you need to do is register your interest by replying in this thread, letting us know that you want to be given a place and which console you have. We will contact the selected lucky users at random by email next week - along with further details on how to take part.

Konami have been talking a lot about the importance community interaction over the last year, and this seems to be the next step in that direction, allowing UK users the chance to test the online mode of 2010 before it's official release date of 23rd October.

This is a PESFan exclusive for the UK, meaning you won't be able to take part in this offer anywhere else, although if you're one of our international users it's not necessarily means for panic - other territories will have similar schemes coming soon.
