Following the release of PES2011 on Nintendo Wii, PES Rankings are pleased to announce two very important new Wii events coming to the Rankings calendar.
Undoubtedly the most exciting event will see an end of season online finale featuring the top ranked PES Wii players on PESRankings.com. The top 14 ranked Wii players will receive a special invite to a one off PES Wii online tournament, where the winner of that tournament will earn a direct invite to the PES Rankings PES2011 Main Event and potentially a shot at the PES2011 World Championships. Granted the Main Event will be held on a difference console, but still not an event to turn your nose up at.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH will release the Wii version of its hotly-anticipated PES 2011 in October, and has outlined the key additions to the new game.
Once again overseen by Producer Akiyoshi 'Greyhound' Chosogabe and his dedicated team, PES 2011 follows the lead set by its Next Gen cousins, and concentrates on giving the player more control over the action than ever before. At the heart of the game lies true multi-directional dribbling, which allows users to run and turn in all 360-degrees, and gives the player greater responsiveness when controlling the ball.

To be considered a casual gamer for this Nintendo Wii event you will either be a new user to www.pesrankings.com or played less than 50 PESRankings Wii games, you will also not have won a previous Casual Night Event on the other consoles. Also if you havent played any games on the Wii, but have on other formats, you can still join. The biggest mover up the Rankings table this week was pure domination, who moved up 666 places after reaching the quarter-finals of the February PESFan Championship and the semi-finals of the London Play.com event where he lost to Footimaster, the event winner. Pure domination also won the Player of the Week, and 250 PES Points!

Konami announces new DLC for PES 2010 for Wii

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that owners of its forthcoming PES 2010 title for Wii will be able to download a roster update on day of release. The free download will update all team rosters in the game in line with current season stats, ensuring that any changes that have occurred since the game was programmed are reflected in the new game.

Konami today released a new trailer showcasing the new elements of its forthcoming PES 2010 title for Wii.
The video has been designed to explain key new elements in the Wii game, and uses visual examples of the new free kick system, the way players tire during the course of the game, the many feints on offer, and Mii support. The trailer also highlights the strong online elements of the new iteration, and also showcases the ever-impressive visuals of the Wii title.
PES 2010 is released for Wii on November 20th.

PES 2010 Release Dates Announced

We’ve just had confirmation from Konami on the UK release dates of PES 2010 for all formats, hurrah!
PS3/Xbox 360/PC versions of the game will be released on October 23rd
PS2/PSP versions will get a November 6th release.
And finally the Wii instalment is set for a November 20th release.
Europe release dates are a day earlier.
The countdown hath begun.
