On the 16th July, top players from across the UK came together to compete in the PES Rankings Main Event 2011.
Bad_boy_g was the eventual winner of the tournament, and was crowned the PES Rankings UK 2011 Champion. He then went on to represent the UK in the World Finals in Cologne in August, which unfortunately, he didn't win.
We caught up with him for a short interview.. which you can read here!

The PES World finals took place yesterday in Cologne, Germany, with UK Champion Ali Sufi, (bad_boy_g) and runner-up Oz Idris representing England against the other regional champions from across the world.

The biggest PES event of the year, the Official Pro Evolution Soccer World Finals for PES 2011, will be taking place in Cologne, Germany, on August 18th.

Cristopher crowned the PES World Champion

In a tensely fought event in Mallorca, Cristopher from Portugal overcame 34 players from all over the world to take the title. Well done to him and well done to UK PES Rankings champion The greek who was unluckily beaten in the semi final. Footimaster also put in a superb performance losing in the quarter final to long time German rival Butcher.

Konami Digital Entertainment GmbH has announced that it will be presenting its first ever live video stream of this year's PES Finals, which take place in Majorca on September 25th.
The gala event heralds the end of the PES 2010 season, and will see the very best PES players gather from all across the globe to go head-to-head to find the ultimate Champion. 23 countries will be represented, including players from Europe including Spain, Germany, Italy, Scandinavia, the UK, and France with entrants from the rest of the world in the form of Argentina, Brazil, Japan, Korea, and the US, with a total of 40 players taking part.
